Most courses are taught in computer labs at the main campus, typically in two full-day sessions from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Sway Use Sway to create a digital ePortfolio presentation. Sway is one of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite of apps and UCalgary students have free access to Sway using their Office 365 email accounts. Prices are: $100 for adults, $90 for youth (ages 13 – 17), and $45 for children (ages 6 – 12), plus GST – a 20% savings for UCalgary alumni. Buy your lift passes.
In general, most students complete the program in one or two years.
A degree or diploma is not required to enrol in this program.
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be admitted. Successful completion of a Grade 12 diploma and relevant work experience are recommended. If English is not your first language, please review the English language proficiency requirements.
You can take courses first and enrol in the certificate later; however, as programs are subject to change, we recommend you apply for admission to the certificate program as early as possible. The certificate admission fee is $105. Once you are admitted, you can be confident that you have locked in the requirements leading to your graduation.
Depending on selected options and required prerequisites, the approximate cost to complete this certificate is $5,750.
Apply for AdmissionAdvanced standing may be granted for equivalent, graded courses completed at other post-secondary institutions. Credit may be granted up to a maximum of 30 hours towards this certificate.
