DVDFAB META COLLECTION USER AGREEMENT

IMPORTANT NOTICE: FENGTAO SOFTWARE INC. URGES YOU TO CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING USER AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THE META COLLECTION FEATURE. USE OF THE META COLLECTION FEATURE PROVIDED WITH THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, OR ANY PART, OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT ACTIVATE AND/OR USE THE META COLLECTION FEATURE. THE USE OF THE META COLLECTION FEATURE IS CONDITIONED UPON COMPLIANCE BY USERS WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

1.What’s Meta Collection?

The meta information, or metadata, of a video. DVD. Blu-ray or 4K UHD Blu-ray disc includes all the basic information about the disc, such as Titles, Front Cover, Description (Synopsis), Studio, Release Year, Running Time/Duration, Genre(s), Director, Actors, Parental Rating, etc. The Meta Collection is a brand new feature Fengtao Software Inc. created in its DVDFab Blu-ray products to scrap these basic information, and then to further analyze the content in each title to tell apart the useful content from the useless content. Users participating in the Meta Collection are encouraged to upload the complete Meta Info of their Blu-ray discs to DVDFab’s secure server so that other users from the entire DVDFab community can access. By doing all of these, the analyzing accuracy of DVDFab Blu-ray products is significantly enhanced and thus, the Blu-ray backup experience is also much improved.

2.Availability and How to Use

Currently, the Meta Collection feature is only open to paid DVDFab users, which is to say, if you do not own any paid version of DVDFab products, the Meta Collection feature is not available to you. To use the Meta Collection feature, users need to load the Blu-ray disc in Blu-ray Copy or Blu-ray Ripper.

3.Incentive Plan

In order to encourage DVDFab users to upload the Meta Info of their collected Blu-ray discs via the Meta Collection feature, Fengtao Software Inc. will offer participators various incentive plans from time to time, including but not limited to cash, gifts and DVDFab products etc. Fengtao Software Inc. reserves all the rights of the final interpretation to how exactly each incentive plan will work out.

4.Privacy Statement

While using the Meta Collection feature, Fengtao Software Inc. may detect user’s DVDFab Member Center account and registered information at DVDFab Forum, however, except for the user name, all the other personal information including E-mail account will never be disclosed to any other individuals, third parties and organizations.

5.Intellectual Property

By using the Meta Collection feature, users agree that Fengtao Software Inc. totally owns the Meta Info they uploaded onto DVDFab Server, and Fengtao Software Inc. reserves all the rights to use the uploaded Meta Info in any way, provided that it is used to improve DVDFab’s product functionality and other related services.

6.User Responsibility

By using the Meta Collection feature, users agree to try their best to assure the accuracy of the uploaded Meta Info. In cases of incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate Meta Info, Fengtao Software Inc. is obliged to delete or remove it from its DVDFab Server. If the same thing happens frequently and exceeds a certain threshold, users’ right to use the Meta Collection feature shall be terminated permanently.

7.Revising the User Agreement

Fengtao Software Inc. reserves all the right to revise and/or modify this User Agreement without further notice to the end users.
